Mission and Purpose

Pain affects all of our lives; the quality of life, and our ability to work effectively.  Stress is usually the leading cause of pain.  In many people, pain medications can have unpleasant side effects.  Considering the number of people reporting pain and its effects on quality of life, the public has become interested in examining other methods of pain relief. Research indicates that massage can reduce pain immediately, and for the long term.  Massage can reduce the incidence and frequency associated with headache and migraine pain. Massage relieves postoperative pain, reduces back and leg pain in pregnant women, relieves discomfort of fibromyalgia, and improves the quality of life for cancer patients.   In short, if you are searching for a holistic therapy that can replace pharmaceuticals, then massage may be your solution.
